I grew up on a farm in Michigan learning to bake from the matriarchs of my family, my mother and grandmother. My grandmother came from Europe where baking/cooking was a way of preserving traditions and showing love. Some of my fondest early childhood memories are of helping my grandma and mom in the farmhouse kitchen. My inspiration is my families farm heritage and European (Latvian, Scandinavian, German) roots. I enjoy sharing my passion for delicious, delectable, family favorites..... breads, muffins, cookies, cakes and more. All of my foods are hand crafted, made from scratch, with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible in a commercial kitchen. " Traditional Foods, Quality Ingredients " is my motto that I bake with. I now share my families favorite foods with you, my extended family.
